Niagara Ontario Health Team selected to move forward with full application

Hotel Dieu Shaver is pleased to share with you that the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care announced that Niagara has been approved to move forward to submit a full application for an Ontario Health Team (OHT). 

Ontario Health Teams, made up of organizations providing services across the spectrum of care in a local community, are being introduced to enhance and better promote the seamless provision of services for their population.  

The Niagara proposal was one of over 150 submitted from across the province, and Niagara is one of only 31 communities selected to move forward to the next phase in the planning.

Hotel Dieu Shaver, along with 25 other committed partners and 9 associated partners from the Niagara region (with a continuing open invitation for any other Niagara service providers to join), worked together to submit the initial application and will continue to work assiduously to meet the October 9th deadline for full applications.
