Hotel Dieu Shaver will be adjusting its parking rates effective Monday, January 27, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to support hospital operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our patients and community.
The maximum daily rate will increase by $1, from $6 to $7.
Parking revenues are an essential source of funding for HDS, with the majority directly supporting patient care and vital facility improvements. Despite facing rising costs and inflationary pressures, this is the first rate increase at HDS in nearly nine years, as we work to ensure parking remains affordable for our patients and visitors.
HDS parking rates are, and will continue to be, fully compliant with the Ministry of Health’s Hospital Parking Directive, and remain among the lowest rates amongst hospitals in Ontario.
